In 2021, Victoria received the honour of being admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of NSW, and she holds active membership with The Law Society of New South Wales. During her undergraduate tenure at the University of Technology, Sydney, she demonstrated her commitment to social justice by volunteering for Women’s Safety NSW. There, she contributed her skills towards aiding victims of domestic violence, preparing research papers, and making government submissions that highlight the impact of domestic violence on Family Law matters. De Facto
De Facto Lawyers
De Facto couples (including same sex couples) who separate after 1 March 2009 have the same rights as married couples. The rights and obligations of couples upon the breakdown of a Marriage or De Facto relationship are now all governed by the Family Law Act 1975. De Facto couples who separated prior to 1 March 2009 are still covered by the old State legislation
