With much uncertainty around the full impact and duration of COVID-19, we would like to assure our clients and potential clients that we are taking all necessary steps to keep our employees and clients safe.

In order to protect the greater community, we will be conducting video conferences wherever possible however, should it become necessary to attend our offices, we would like to inform you that our building undergoes regular deep cleaning and sanitising throughout the day. Further to this, we have implemented no hand shaking and social distancing measures, regular sanitising of all surfaces in meeting rooms, and access to hand sanitising for all employees and visitors to help ensure that we continue to uphold the recommendations by health authorities.

The Family Court of Australia and Federal Circuit Court have now put in place operational changes, with only urgent and priority matters being a focus for the courts, which will no doubt cause further delays. Where possible, it may now be necessary to consider to look to family law mediation as a means to resolve matters in a far more timely and cost effective manner. As Frances Edwards is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and Family Law Accredited Specialist, she will be able to assist parties with this by conducting mediations both in our conference rooms and by video link.
