Since his admission as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia, Nicholas chose to practise exclusively in family law after developing a passion for the area during his studies. Nicholas has an understanding that each family law matter is unique and requires its own tailored approach and solution.
Nicholas has represented clients in all aspects of family law disputes, including matters involving high net worth individuals, complex financial issues, high conflict parenting matters and matters involving an international element.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Communication (majoring in Journalism) from the University of Technology, Sydney. During his time at university Nicholas was employed as a peer tutor and tutored other students in the subject of Family Law.
Nicholas was admitted as a solicitor in April 2016 and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.”

De Facto couples (including same sex couples) who separate after 1 March 2009 have the same rights as married couples. The rights and obligations of couples upon the breakdown of a Marriage or De Facto relationship are now all governed by the Family Law Act 1975. De Facto couples who separated prior to 1 March 2009 are still covered by the old State legislation
