Sarah Koura

Sarah is a compassionate family lawyer dedicated to helping clients navigate some of the most challenging and stressful periods of their lives. Sarah understands that family law disputes can be deeply personal and emotional. She believes clients deserve not only strong legal advice, but also empathy, understanding and support throughout the process. Prior to practising in family law, Sarah worked in the care and protection space, developing an understanding of the complexities faced by children and families. This experience has shaped her empathetic and client-focused approach, particularly in parenting matters.

 Sarah combines strong problem-solving skills with a practical and considered approach to each matter. She takes the time to understand her clients’ circumstances, concerns and goals, providing clear advice and helping them identify appropriate options and strategies to achieve the best possible outcome. Sarah strives to be a calm and reasoned voice for her clients when emotions can understandably run high, helping them remain focused on what matters most. Sarah has worked exclusively in family law since 2023 and commenced practising as a solicitor in February 2025. She completed a Bachelor of Laws in 2023 and was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 2023. She was subsequently admitted to the High Court of Australia in March 2025.

Throughout her practice, Sarah is committed to building strong relationships with her clients and ensuring they feel heard, informed and supported. She believes effective family law representation requires not only sound legal knowledge and advocacy, but also empathy, and strong problem-solving skills so that clients receive the best possible outcome for their matter.
