Since her time at University, Ariane has focussed her career in Family Law. Drawn to the personal nature of Family Law, Ariane undertook electives in Family Law whilst working as a legal assistant, gaining invaluable experience assisting in complex parenting and property matters. These early client interactions instilled in Ariane a desire to help guide clients through what is an emotionally fraught and stressful time.
Ariane’s compassionate and thoughtful nature, combined with her pragmatic and detail oriented approach earns the trust and confidence of her clients.
Ariane is attentive and meticulous in her approach to complex property disputes including those dealing with multiple corporate and trust entities, family business and superannuation splitting and applies her extensive practical knowledge in assisting clients to reach settlement out of Court. By balancing legal rights and pragmatism, Ariane strives to achieve positive outcomes for her clients in a non-confrontational and cost-effective manner through negotiation, mediation and less adversarial processes.
Ariane has significant experience in intricate matters involving children of all ages including relocation orders, recovery orders and domestic violence matters. Ariane is committed to helping clients achieve settlement in parenting matters and works collaboratively with her clients to focus on the best interests of their children. However, in circumstances where Court proceedings are required, Ariane is an experienced litigator and communicates effectively and strongly as an advocate for her client.
Every matter is different, as is every client and their family. There is no “one size fits all” approach to Family Law and Ariane’s focus is always on the individual needs of her client and how to achieve the best resolution for them.
